Do guests need to install an app?
No. The card opens in the browser the moment a guest scans the QR at the table or counter. If they want, they add it to the home screen in one tap and it behaves like an app.
What does my staff need?
Any phone with a camera. The scanner is a page your staff sign in to with an email and password, no install and no extra hardware.
How long does setup take?
One day. You send an application, we create your venue and a staff account, and you get an email with your login details and a QR for the counter.
What exactly do I get in the trial?
A full three months of every Pro feature: analytics, messages and coupons, brand color. No credit card and no commitment; when the trial ends, you choose Start or Pro.
Is everything under my brand on Pro?
Yes. On Pro your guests never see Stampresso: the card is in your venue's colors, with your name and on your own domain if you like (e.g. card.yourvenue.com), with no Stampresso branding. Your guests, your brand.
How do I pay?
After the free trial you subscribe with your card through Gumroad, our merchant of record, right from the app. The subscription renews automatically every month or year, you get a receipt for every charge, and you can cancel anytime. The trial itself requires no card.
Is Stampresso only for businesses?
Yes. Stampresso is a service for registered venues such as cafes, restaurants and similar, so the subscription is billed to the business.
Can a guest add stamps to their own card?
No. A stamp is added only by signed-in staff scanning the guest's code, and every check happens on the server, not on the phone.
What if a guest changes or loses their phone?
The card comes back with their name and phone number, no stamps are lost.
What if I run a pizzeria, pasta bar or burger place, not a cafe?
It works the same. You choose what gets collected: coffee, pizza, pasta, burger or anything else, just email us and we'll set up whatever your venue collects. Multiple locations? One account and one card work across all of them.
Can I cancel?
Anytime, there is no contract. Your stamps and guests stay saved if you come back.
